Day 31- Christmas is the season of giving

Dear Diary,

Everything is working well for me! Not only have I got a new Jingle Carpet, but I have gotten notice that my Nook is upgrading and will be closed all day tomorrow (it doesn't bother me cuz I probably won't have a chance to leave my house all day) and I paid off my loan to Nook. I am going to have a new basement tomorrow morning to put my new carpet in. There is rumors that my friend Shayne (isn't yet living in Animal Crossing World) may be joining us tomorrow depending on what presents he got from Jingle.

So after a month of harvesting fruit, catching fish/bugs and selling useless furniture, my town is going to be what I want it to be. I'm going to have the biggest house, the biggest store and all of my neighbors here with me. Hopefully Carlos and Alex come see me, Carlos has already had the biggest house for a couple weeeks now and I know a couple people with the biggest store, which unforunately doesn't make me the 1st but I didn't cheat and that's what makes me proud.

I will probably help my brother upgrade his house some more, because I invested so much time into my house and my life, that I can't help but feel bad for him for not being able to say he has everything he wants and needs. I've also donated 30,000 bells to the Town fund to help pay for some new renovations that the town can always use. Hopefully the new year will be as giving and wonderful for my friend in the Wild World as it's been this year for me.

Day 27-Blah

Dear Diary,

I spent the day alone, I had my gate open for an hour but no one came by. I guess people just weren't online, it sucks because I haven't seen Alex or Carlos in like over a week. I am though 40,000 bells away from paying off my loan and getting a basement. I am proud of myself for doing this loan 100% alone. No help, no loans, no gifts, just harvesting fruit, collecting seashells and saving my money. I also have great news, on Christmas Day, my cousin Arianna from SacTown is going to be moving into Wild World (on the Ds) so maybe one day she'll come to my town.

As for my brother Xav, He did some shopping today. He picked up new wallpaper for his house. Today at Nook's was 5 times the points so he earned enough to move from Basic to Bronze along with me. He should be getting his nook cranny model house in the mail any day now. I mailed off some christmas letters to my friend, because I probably wont have time to be on much during Christmas week.

Day 18- Buying and Bargaining

Dear Diary,

With a recent new upgrade of a 2nd floor, I have a whole bunch of free space. I really want to get some stuff in my room, like get the complete set of the Regal stuff which is gonna go upstairs in the 2nd floor. I already have the wallpaper, bed, table, clock, and dresser. I am going to buy the lamp, bookcase, vanity, clock and armoire from this girl named Sara.

For the downstairs room, I am getting the Double Range, Mixer, Shave Ice Maker, coffee maker, Washer/Dryer, Automatic Washer, Widescreen Tv, Toliet, Tea Set, Shower, and Computer. A kitchen/bathroom/laundry room. It'll probably become a basement later when I buy one. But then I won't have a living room so I'll have to buy a new one.

I met Sara who has a lot of pieces that I actually need but I doubt she'll have every part. I didn't visit any time to do errands today (because the store was closed)

Day 17-Day of Surprises

Dear Diary,

I have had a crazy day. First of all, I did some time traveling to go back to Sunday to try and buy turnips to see in my friend's town. His nook was buying turnips for 421 bells a piece. I did it once, a friend of mine bought me 210 turnips for free. I made 80 something thousand! My friend Carlos let me borrow 50,000 bells to pay off my loan and I finally made it. I now have a 2nd level, which I decorated with my regal stuff. I'ma make the main room the like kitchen/laundry/bathroom. I want some of the stuff to go along with that. I currently have 145k, I need 222k to pay off this new loan. Once I paid off my loan, I got a new bullentin saying that Nook's is gonna be closed tomorrow and upgrading to a new level. I'ma ask Carlos, Alex,Sam and Chris for the 222k that I need. I'm not gonna pay it off till next Friday cuz I wanna have some money left over to buy stuff from my friends and people I met on my sites.

I can't wait, i'ma go see Carlos, and i sent messages to the others, hopefully someone lets me borrow, I would pay it back as soon as possible.

Day 16- Town Hopping

Dear Diary,

I spent today town hopping, of course after I did my errands. I stopped by to see all my neighbors. Amelia has made a full recovery from falling ill a few days ago, she even gave me wallpaper as a gift for bringing her the medicine. Unfortunately it wasn't anything I wanted so I had to sell it to Nook but it's the thought that counts. I went to the post office to mail some letters to Alex & Carlos but Pelly told me that the out-of-town deliveries are backed up and I'd have to come back later. I left, at first I went to Alex's town, because I was happy to finally have him online and glad to see him after what feels like 2 weeks. But he was on his way off so I had to leave town. Then I went to Carlos's town, Samara was over visiting so I got to talk to them. We had a fishing competition and a lively game of Hide-N- Seek. Carlos wasn't able to find me! Then I left, Carlos had to go eat dinner and I didn't feel like waiting 30 minutes alone in town. So I went to see Jen, I had never visited Jen's town before so I went around, meeting her lovely neighbors and then of course introducing myself to her. She was nice but very quiet. Samara came over, I laughed with her for a little while then I left.

I went to Sonic's house, the last stop of the night. I haven't seen Sonic in about 2 weeks either so It was great. I also had never been to her town so it felt great to see her. She has this lovely Princess set of furniture in her house, it's adorable! She also has the upstairs bedroom and the basement in her house. I picked up some elegant paper from her Nookingston and left. Jen's store was going to be closed, upgrading to a Nook's Mart but she's still a bronze level at the point scale. I wonder what that's suppose to mean for me.

After I did all my visiting, I went home. I noticed a yellow canary perched on top of the bullentin. As I got closer to see the bird, I read a note on my bullentin. Something about a huge snow storm sweeping into Azaria tomorrow, it shook me up a little bit. I wasn't really ready to go through that. I entered the post office to mail my out-of-town letters but again she told me that deliveries are backed up and that I would have to come back later. On the way home I saw a seagull in a green uniform walking by my house. His name is Pete and he works for the post office. He's the one that delivers letters and packages to all the houses in town. I talked to him for a little bit but he had some work left to do and I wasn't feeling like waiting in the cold for him to come back.

Day 15-Visiting Friends

Dear Diary,

I spent the day with friends and doing errands. I usually start off with my errands because once I have friends in town, I'm too distracted entertaining them to do much else. I chopped down some non-fruit trees, planted some new fruit trees and some flowers, checked the recycling bin and the Lost 'n' found, wrote and mailed letters, sold stuff to Nook, paid off some more of my loan (74,080 bells left on my loan). Once I did all that, I did my neighbor circle. I went to each one of my neighbors and talked to them. A few of them complained about the cold (it's not snowing in Azaria today), Amelia (who lives by the beach) caught a cold a few days ago, but I gave her medicine and she's recovering. The rest of them talked to me about the Fishing Tourney this Saturday. After I finished my daily chores, I opened my gate in hopes of seeing my best friend/crush Alex, unfortunately he wasn't coming nor was his gate opened. Instead Samara and Carlos came to see me, which was great, because they are good friends of mine from way back. Carlos is currently on his last upgrade before the basement. I love his 2nd story! I want the basement so badly though. I played hide and go seek with Carlos in his town, because he opened his gate and invited me over. He has the 2nd story level, and I am very happy to see how far along his house has gone.

I sent some letters, to Sam of Smalville. He's house is the model home at the Happy Model Academy in the city, I saw it today when I made a quick trip to get my wii mask for my Animal Crossing person. Sent him a letter of congrats. Then I wrote Alex, asking him if he will be on tomorrow, and I wrote carlos, thanking him for allowing me to be in his town for over 2 hours. I guess I can't really complain though, I would have been alone for all this time.

As for my brother, he slept in today. He too fell down with the cold but he didn't get medicine fast enough.

Day 14- A huge gift

Dear Diary,

Well I got one of my most prized possessions- A music box. You're probably wondering, how I got a music box? Well first I want to take you back to Thanksgiving Day.

I found Franklin, who was collecting Knife and fork sets that the mayor passed out to me (for deliveries to neighbors) and I ended up with 2 Harvest Rugs, a harvest tv, a harvest table and a harvest chair. I sold the tv, table, chair and one of the rugs to Nook for cash but I kept one and it's a permeant fixture in my house.

As the days have passed, I have been selling fruit from fruit trees I've planted and I'm down to 95,137 bells for my loan. I haven't taken any loans for my friends this time. About 2 days ago, a little kitten named Katie wandered into my town. I noticed her crying by the beach.

I went to talk to her and she told me that she had walked off from her mom and got lost. Her mom lives in Kashyyk (my friend Chris's town). At first, I didn't believe her. How could I get her back to Kashyyk if Chris's gate wasn't open. I figured she would only be there for 1 day and then she'd be gone. But she wasn't! She was near Nook N Go the next day. Still crying that her mom was in Kashyyk and she needed me to take her home. Luckily for me, Chris had his gate open. I lead the girl to my gate, and we both walked through it.

When we arrived in Kashyyk, Katie's mom was there by the gate. She thanked me deeply for bringing her little girl home and scolded the girl for wandering off. I felt like I did a good deed for the family and went about my visit. Eventually I went home and went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning, I had some mail. 3 letters, 2 with a present. My 1st letter was from Rhonda (neighbor in my town) she was talking about some Lemon Tea she had for lunch. The 2nd was from the ABD (bank) sending me a replacement shopping card. The 3rd was from Katie, thanking me for bringing her home. When I opened the gift wrapped present, it was a red music box with golden letters written on the top. And when you open it, it plays the Animal Crossing theme song very softly in an instrumental way.

I love it so much I put it on display within my house. I own a fair part of the Regal collection. The clock, table, bed, dresser and wallpaper. The only other object on the table was my lamp. I put the music box right next to the lamp and opened it. I love the tune, it helps me sleep at night sometimes. I guess it's my most prized possession! Everything else in my house (my regal collection) is important to me but I would sell that in a minute if necessary. This music box is something I'd never sell (not just because I can't order another)but because it's something I earned. One of my friends who came into my town offered to buy the music box for 13,000 bells (a hefty amount) and I told them no. Another offered 30,000 bells for it (would have paid off a huge chunk of my loan) but again I said no.

This isn't something that can be bought. I don't love it for the beauty or the music, I love it because someone I helped thought about me and gave it to me. How am I suppose to know if it was hers? Maybe it was a family heirloom and I won't sell it!

As for my town, I haven't gained or lost any neighbors. I guess that can be seen as a good thing. I have however got my Nook's Cranny upgraded to a Nook 'N' Go which offers a few more items that Nook's cranny did. My brother, Xav, finally paid off his first loan of 19,800 bells and decided that he's not going to pay off this next loan (he only owns 5 pieces of furniture and he's not looking for any more room).
